Our affiliation with a 1608-bed hospital provides extensive clinical experience, and we support professional development, research, and career placement, achieving a 100% placement record.
Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, the Honorable Chancellor of Adichunchanagiri University and 72nd Pontiff of the revered Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, epitomizes the perfect harmony between distinguished academic achievement and profound spiritual insight. With a Master’s in Engineering from IIT Chennai (Gold Medalist) and a Doctorate in Philosophy from Gulbarga University, Mahaswamiji has dedicated his life to the pursuit of knowledge, selfless service, and upliftment of society. His unwavering commitment to holistic development is reflected in his leadership of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust®, which touches the lives of over 150,000 students across 500+ educational institutions, and in visionary initiatives like Adichunchanagiri University and SAMVIT. Mahaswamiji believes in nurturing well-rounded individuals, equipping them with technical expertise, strong moral values, and a spirit of compassionate service.
A champion for harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity, Mahaswamiji draws deeply from the teachings of Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Swami Vivekananda, while using his vast knowledge to promote Sanatana Hindu Dharma and holistic education globally. He has delivered discourses at leading universities worldwide, fostering intercultural dialogue and spiritual wisdom. Under his leadership, the Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana stands as a beacon of progressive education, cultural preservation, and societal upliftment. Mahaswamiji’s inspiring vision, combining scientific knowledge with spiritual depth, continues to guide BGS VIPT and all its students toward personal excellence, social responsibility, and a brighter, more connected future.
He holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University, an ME in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and a PhD from the same institute’s Department of Aerospace Engineering. Dr. Sridhara has authored over 80 high-impact research papers in international journals and more than 150 papers in national journals and conferences. He holds 5 Indian patents and 2 Australian patents, with his work widely cited for its enduring relevance. He has guided 12 PhD scholars to completion and mentored numerous researchers.
Dr. Sridhara’s academic journey began as a lecturer, progressing to roles such as Professor, Dean, Director, and Vice Chancellor. His expertise spans aerospace engineering, solar energy, green technology, and sustainable development. He has pioneered corporate training programs for industry giants like Robert Bosch, Schneider, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Infosys.
Dr. Sridhara played a pivotal role in the institutional development of BMS College of Engineering, M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies, KS School of Engineering and Management, Amity University (Gurugram), and Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Deemed to be University (HITS). During his tenure as Vice Chancellor at HITS, the university experienced comprehensive, multifaceted growth.
Through his collaboration with Coventry University, UK, Dr. Sridhara developed innovative, industry-relevant pedagogical practices and outcome-based education (OBE). He has trained faculty across institutions to adopt OBE and fostered environments that promote learning, creativity, and collaboration.
His contributions have earned him prestigious accolades, including the Best Principal Award from ISTE and the Government of Karnataka, the Best Vice Chancellor Award at the national level, and Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Institution of Engineers (Karnataka) and the International Space Forum (Serbia). Dr. Sridhara has also supported India’s educational initiatives, contributing to NEP 2020 and serving as an ambassador for Viksit Bharat.
In recognition of his service to the National Cadet Corps (NCC), the Government of India honoured him with the title of Honorary Colonel
